I removed the picture that I posted about Atheism. Apparently those who are atheist said the picture was inaccuarate to their actual beliefs, so although I do not share the views of an atheist I am removing the picture out of respect for them. After thinking about it, I could see how the picture could be viewed as devisive and that is not the intent of this blog. I desire to share the love of Christ and that is not done by being divisive or rude. I stand firm on what I believe, but felt that it was best to remove the picture so I do not portray the wrong attitude.

Oops.
You updated in between me starting to write that post and me posting it.
My apologies – you have my permission to remove that comment, and this one.

@Ubiquitous – I removed the other comment with your permission because other readers would not understand all of its context. Thanks for your input.

I’d rather you get answers than censor yourself- it is better to be wrong and learn than hide it and not learn at all.

@Samuel – I am not censoring myself, and I do not believe I was wrong in any way. The picture that was posted was mixing Atheism and Evolution which I believe are closely tied together. The reason I removed the picture is two fold, #1 those who are take the side of an Atheist who visited my blog and responded all unanimously said the picture was inaccurate, though I do not fully agree with them, I decided it was best to remove the picture rather than to come across as divisive for no reason. I am all for having a mature factual discussion on what I believe and how that differs from others, however that leads me to reason #2 I really do not have the time to respond to the high volume of responses I received. I would much rather take the time to examine the areas where the atheist said the picture was inaccurate, but due to extremely emotional responses, I was never able to get that information from them to examine it and contrast with how I believed the picture to be true. Therefore as a Christian, I would much rather remove the picture than to come across as rude or unloving and divisive. Jesus said in Matthew to Love the Lord with all my heart, soul, and mind and the second commandment was equal to the first, to love my neighbor as I love myself. I have no disregard for atheist and therefore I do not want to come across as if I did. I would much rather show them the Christ that I serve with love than to push them away with words and actions that can be perceived incorrectly.
