We should have bought one of these 6 weeks ago:

Yeah watching a baby sleep in a swing is not that exciting, but when you have a baby who has colic, it is heaven on earth!!! Hailey has not fully adjusted to the swing, but she is getting there, we’ve only had it for one day.
Funny how priorities change in life. I would have rather had these:
For the same price as the swing, but I am happy to settle with the swing for Hailey, I am sure it will payoff big time over the next several months, as apparently it helps colicky babies to be moving.

our 3rd was FUSSY! we had had the best two babies imaginable with #1 and #2, but #3 definitely broke our “good baby” mold. he’s the reason we didn’t go for a 4th! it definitely gets better… in about a year! 🙂

I think you should still buy the video games as a reward for all the trama you have experienced through the last couple of months

I feel your pain. Our 1st had colic terrible. I remember Brad and I taking shifts every night. I remember the exhaustion. It does get better eventually. Without the help of our family, I don’t think we would have made it through those miserable nights. Glad the swing is helping!

Mine would be. Pick your battles. If your 3 1/2 year old little girl comes out of her room dressed like a ho-bo to take a trip to wal-mart, let her. Some battles just aren’t worth fighting. Only choose those that are or you’ll get worn slap out. 🙂
