8 days…and Hailey Elizabeth (Stallone) Carnes will be here. The surgery date was moved up from Thursday, July 24th to Tuesday, July 22nd, which I know Nicki is excited about. Thank you for any and all prayers that everything will go smoothly. My prayer for 9 months has been that Hailey will be born completely healthy and completely whole, and that she would be smart and beautiful…selfish I know! 🙂

Camping trip in two weeks! Not near as exciting as a new baby, but… time alone with the family really makes me happy.

A baby girl!!!!!
Our next big event is celebrating my wife’s birthday Saturday night. It’s a milestone but I’m not going to say how old. I didn’t get to my advanced age by being stupid.
You guys will be in our prayers. Baby girls are special. I always love your thoughts and insights.

Congrats on the new baby! And smart and beautiful.. lets hope she takes after your wife then. 🙂 Actually, I think you’re pretty safe there, your boys are both adorable already. Besides, even if it is a “selfish” thought, God knows we’re thinking it so we might as well voice it. I prayed similar selfish prayers, like “Lord please let me at least THINK they’re cute.” At least my girls can’t blame me for things they won’t like about themselves. 🙂
