I had the priviledge of seeing Voddie Baucham for the first time at North Point Church in Alphretta, Georgia. At first I was a little upset that Andy Stanley was not going to be speaking, however after Voddie got finished I was excited I was introduced to this pastor. My dad and brother showed this video to me over the weekend. Nick, thanks for posting this. I have not heard of this pastor before, but I am very glad to have. His sincerity is so apparent, that it is humbling to me. I look forward to looking for itunes sermons or more youtube from this guy. Good stuff.
By the way, I can relate to being disappointed at not getting to hear Andy speak. I’ve driven all the way to Atlanta to go to North Point when he’s not been there. But Louie spoke then so it was a treat anyway!
Voddie is such an awesome teacher/preacher of the Word!! I had the opportunity to take my youth to hear him daily at superwow! I just love how he puts it out there! Especially when he speaks of adolescence being a relatively new term!! There was definite growth among my students that week, God really blessed us.
