Here’s my weekend flashback…
- Georgia played one of the greatest football games that I can remember. They solidly kicked Florida’s butt who was ranked #9 over Georgia’s #20 ranking, 42-30. The last exciting game that I can recall was Georgia’s SEC Championship win over Arkansas in 2002 and their following Sugar Bowl victory over the Florida State Seminoles. Also in 2005 as what the experts considered “underdogs” they solidly trampled LSU in the SEC Championship game. The highlight of the game was to see the Bulldogs celebration in the end zone as a team for what turned out to be a 30 yard penalty, and Mark Richt’s laughter and smile on the sideline…that’s what I call leading by example…Awesome!
- Knowshon Moreno is an awesome player and is going to lead the Bulldogs to some great wins! Read this write up on him.
- Nicki and I took Gavin and Tristan to the Family Fall Festival at West Acres Baptist Church, they did a jam up job. It was like a mini carnival, what a great event for the community.
- I had another long/short weekend cleaning windows. We are nearing an end…
